Abdirizack Mohamed (B Com, MBA, CPA (K))

Abdirizack is a Management Consultant with extensive experience and wide range of expertise in Financial and Operational Management of both Not for Profit Organizations and the Private sector. He holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration -Strategic Management (UoN), Bachelor of Accounting (UoN), Certified Public Accountants of Kenya and is a member of Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK).

He has worked in a variety of contexts, carrying out strategic and operational reviews, evaluations and implementation of new systems including ERP implementation. He has also conducted capacity assessments and facilitated strengthening financial management capacity of many organizations through developing and reviewing policies and procedures, and delivering customized training on financial management and donor compliance. He has keen interest in Cash Transfer Programming.

He has excellent facilitation skills having managed audiences with diverse professional and social backgrounds. He has facilitated numerous trainings on Financial Management, Donor Compliance, Cash Based Responses for different clients including INGOs, National NGOs and UN Agencies in Somalia, South Sudan, Ethiopia and Kenya.

He speaks Somali, English, Swahili and Basic Arabic. He is the CEO at Abrimo Global Consulting Ltd.

Hassan A. Eymoy (MPH,BCP,RCO,CPM)

A Clinician and Counselling Psychologist, He holds a Master of Public Health Degree(MOI University), Bachelor of Counselling Psychology (UoN), Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery (KMTC – Nairobi) and Certificate in Project Management (Lyon, France).

He is a researcher  & Trainer on various issues including Primary Healthcare, HIV & AIDS and Nutrition in Kenya, Somalia and extensively in Eastern and Southern Africa; Monitoring & Evaluation of health and Nutrition projects.  He as wide experience in delivering customised training on Project Cycle Management and Institutional Management.

He has worked in Public services, development and emergency Nutrition and Health projects in Kenya and Larger Eastern and Southern African countries, Uganda, Zimbabwe, DR Congo and Somalia/Somaliland. He has vast experience in delivery of Primary Healthcare, Nutrition and HIV programs across Africa. He has enormous experience in development of Adult friendly trainings for medical/Health practitioners for Government, INGOs and UN agencies.

In 2007/2008; He worked with Action Against Hunger; As Regional Nutrition/Health Advisor for 8 African Countries focusing on Capacity building of Health/Nutrition Project staffs. From 2001 – 2006 he worked with Ministry of Health – Kenya at Garissa Provincial as Clinical Officer handling various health and Nutrition related ailments.

He speaks Somali, English, Swahili and Basic Arabic.

Shurrie Barre Abdi (M.Ed,B.Ed)

Shurie is an educationalist with extensive experience and expertise in Curriculum Developer in Early childhood Education. He holds a Masters of Education (M.Ed)   from University of Nairobi (UoN) and Bachelor Degree of Education (Early Childhood development & Education) from Kenyatta University.

He has over 20 years hands on experience in educational and training environment, have worked in educational institutions both as teacher and trainer in a variety of contexts. He has trained both primary and secondary students as well as teachers.

He has excellent facilitation skills having facilitated numerous trainings for teachers (TOT) on development of child friendly learning resources and use of integrated teaching approach. Shurrie has keen interest in Curriculum Development and deep knowledge of formulating lesson plans.

He speaks Somali, English, Swahili and Arabic.

Peter Mwangi Waichari (B Com, MBA, CPA (K), CISA,CIA.

Peter has excellent skills, knowledge and experience in Auditing and Risk Management having provided professional Auditing services for over 13 years with the last seven years at leadership level. He has provided Internal Auditing and Risk Management services to different clients in various sectors including financial sector, public sector, nongovernmental organizations, manufacturing, transport and communication, building and constructions, property management, pension fund and media industry. 

Peter is responsible for Consultancy Services relating to Outsourced and Co sourced Internal Auditing, Risk Management, Governance and Compliance Services at Abrimo Global Consulting Ltd. In the past, Peter worked for Equatorial Bank as the Head of Internal Audit functionally reporting to Board Audit & Risk Committee. He also worked for Chase Bank as Head of Audit for about 2 years and KPMG Kenya for about three years as a Senior Advisor and team leader in a number of Advisory Services relating to Enterprise Risk Management, Internal Auditing Services, Business Performance Improvement Services, Quality Assurance Review, Control Self Risk Assessments and training across East Africa Region.

His has a strong and sound strength and skills in auditing and risk management and ability to undertake an organizational strategic analysis, conduct strategic enterprise risk assessment, align audit cycles with organization core processes and strategic risks thus overall helping an organization in managing its critical risks and achieve its key objectives. He has also developed and nurtured his communication skills, problem solving skills, effective leadership skills, and interpersonal skills and is a team player.

Peter has achieved major positive contributions to a number of organizations that he has offered his professional services including providing professional audit advice during the merger of Equatorial Bank & Southern Credit Bank, established Audit functions from scratch for Chase Bank and its Group, contributed to growth of KPMG Internal Audit, Risk & Compliance Advisory Services in East Africa and he was a member of Change Management team that transformed Equity Building Society to Equity Bank.

His knowledge and skills have been enhanced through attendance of various training courses in Risk Management, Finance, Auditing, Leadership, Corporate governance, Taxation, Management as well as hands on experience having taken part in facilitating some courses internally in his current work place and externally in his past jobs.
